ECONOMIC SYMPOSIUM
THE CHALLENGE
WACEFE wanted to bring educators, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders together to strengthen financial education across Washington, but there was no event to do it.
They needed one built from scratch: a full day substantial enough to draw the right people, serve both classroom educators and policy professionals, and become a lasting fixture on the state's calendar.
THE RESULT
We built the symposium from the ground up, leading strategy across ticketing, sponsorship, and the full attendee experience, in partnership with Western Washington University and the University of Washington.
We shaped a two-track agenda that served both educators and policy professionals, managed speaker logistics for a lineup that included Washington's Chief Economist and the State Treasurer, and coordinated planning across partners sharing resources.
The result drew hundreds of attendees and became an annual event that continues to grow, strengthening financial education efforts across the state.
